Volunteers are an integral part of Lucky Orphans and play a huge part in helping us meet our mission. Our volunteers assist with projects on the farm, fundraising and events, social media and marketing, as well as administrative tasks.
To ensure that our horses receive the consistency and quality of care that they need, and for everybody's safety, we do not guarantee that our volunteers will work directly with the horses. Working with the horses is a privilege that is earned overtime, and we are excited to provide all of our volunteers with opportunities for growth and learning!

GETTING STARTED
After you've completed an application through VOMO, our volunteer management platform, someone will reach out to you to schedule an interview and speak with you more about our volunteer program. The application can be accessed through the link above.
Once welcomed to the herd, all of our volunteers are required to complete an orientation and two hands-on training clinics. There is a $25 on boarding fee. This is mandatory for all volunteers, no matter their previous experience.
